How do I schedule an appointment with ShyB.Artistry Makeup?

Click "Book Online" at the top of the page, Choose your service, date/time, pay necessary fees. Your appointment will be set.

Is a deposit required to book an appointment?

Yes, a non-refundable retainer is required to secure an appointment.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you need to cancel any appointment for any reason, please notify ShyB.Artistry (if possible) 48 hrs in advance, Retainer fee will be retained.

What if the the makeup artist needs to cancel an appointment?

If ShyB.Artistry needs to cancel an appointment,( due to illness, emergencies, inclement weather, etc.) Only under this circumstance, the retainer fee will be refunded  & referral can be made to a fellow makeup artist. Clients will be given as much advance notice as possible.

Can I reschedule my appointment if needed?

Yes, clients are only allowed to reschedule ONCE within a 30 day period. After the 30 day period, client will be subject to another non-refundable retainer fee for booking..

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, refunds are issued ONLY if the makeup artist has to cancel an appointment with a client (example: illness, inclement weather, emergencies, etc.)

What if I am running late for my appointment?

There is a 10 minute grace period for ALL appointments, after the 10 minute grace period a $10.00 late fee will be charged to the price of service. After 15 minutes, appointment WILL be cancelled and retainer fee WILL be retained by artist. You will be required to book another appointment date/time and subject to another non-refundable retainer fee to secure appointment

Do you offer Early Hour/After Hours appointments?

Yes, any appointment scheduled before  9 am and after 7 pm, is considered early/after hours appointments. There will be a $25.00 fee added to the price of the service for these appointments.

Do you travel for client appointments?

Yes, I will travel upon availability. There will be a travel fee added to services for any travel. 

Do you travel to venues for weddings, and/or destination weddings?

Yes, I will travel for weddings. All fees included for travel, hotel etc., will be discussed with clients upon booking. Please email all details for the wedding (date/time/location, etc.) and we will start planning for your big day.

Do I need any prep for my appointment?

Yes, please have eyebrows groomed (waxed, threaded, etc.) prior to appointment and freshly cleaned face.

Am I allowed to bring someone to my appointment with me?

NO ONE is allowed to accompany you to your appointment. If you are a minor, you may have one adult/parent accompany you to your appointment. Otherwise, that person/s will have to wait outside of the studio or in the car.

What if I have allergies or sensitive skin?

If you have allergies or sensitive skin, please notify makeup artist 
IMMEDIATELY upon booking your appointment. Please email this information to the artist to maintain safety of all clients.

What if I have any open wounds, sores or cuts on my face prior to appointment?

If you have any of these issues listed, please email the makeup artist prior to appointment so preparations can be made to maintain safety and sanitation of client, tools, products, etc. 
If wound, sores or cuts are too complex, client will need to reschedule to allow healing time.

What if I am a "No Show" for an appointment?

If you are a "No Show", your retainer fee will be retained and you will be charged the remaining balance for that appointment time slot. Any remaining balances will have to paid in full before booking in the future. If you are allowed to schedule for future appointments, FULL payment is required prior to any service, payment will be non-refundable. The decision will be made at the discretion of ShyB.Artistry.

Are lashes included with Full face services?

Yes, lashes are included with all ShyB.Artistry Signature Glam services.

What are you Covid Guidelines/Restrictions?

You are required to wear a mask upon arrival to the studio.

If you are experiencing any Covid-like symptoms (such as cough, congestion, sneezing, runny nose, headaches, body aches, chills or increased temp greater than 99.4, DO NOT SHOW UP TO YOUR SCHEDULED. APPOINTMENT.  Your appointment will be rescheduled. 

If you show up to your appointment exhibiting Covid-like symptoms or are visibly ill, your appointment WILL be cancelled, your deposit WILL be forfeited, you WILL be charged the remaining balance for that appointment time slot and WILL NOT be able to book with ShyB.Artistry in the future.
